In October 2026 Cultural Debris Excursions will make our first trip to Croatia, just across the Adriatic from Italy. We will spend 10 days exploring Split, Zagreb, and Rovinj, exploring an old Europe out of the way of most tourist travel. We will walk cobblestone streets, visit forgotten Roman ruins, and trek to hidden waterfalls that look straight out of a fantasy movie. And, of course there will be no shortage of tremendous food, wine, and conversation.
We follow up our time in Croatia with three days in beautiful Venice, exploring the majestic streets, bridges, and legendary canals of Italy’s floating city.
